If you are using XB36Hazard's Halo 4 Profile Editor to resign, open the GPD in the tool, and immediately hit 'Save' to fix the security. The profile page will re-open, but you may close exProfileEditor at this point regardless. Save the GPD (Select 'Save to local files'). Click 'Inject', and select the TitleSpecific1 file you just modified. In exProfileEditor, click on TitleSpecific1, and at the bottom of the window you should see 'Inject'. Open up TitleSpecific2 and select the very first 4 bytes in the file. That table briefly continues on to the next setting file. Go to the very end, and select the last 0x120 (288 decimal) bytes in the file. Open up TitleSpecific1 in a Hex Editor of your choosing. In case you aren't familiar with this program: Extract the 'TitleSpecific1' and 'TitleSpecific2' files. On the left side, click 'Entries' and then 'Setting' below it. In exProfileEditor, click 'Open Profile' and direct it to the folder you extracted those files to.Ĭlick on 'Halo 4" under 'Games' on the right hand side. Open your profile in the Package Manager of your choosing.Įxtract the following files (or every file, if you so wish) from your profile to a folder of your choice: (If you have a modded xbox, you can skip all of this and go to the bottom section of the tutorial) Or you could fix it manually if you know how. It also requires something like XB36Hazard's Halo 4 Profile Editor to fix the security on the gpd. Then when you try again, use the settings files to find and edit the location in the actual gpd file, instead of editing the settings files and using exPE to re-inject them. If this happens, play your backup online to save the original settings back to the server. You need exProfileEditor Edit: Some people are having issues with exPE, as it it is saving the gpd at a much larger size than it originally was. You need a Package Manager of the Horizon/Modio variety. This unlocks all 55 loadout items, 319 armory items, and 176 items in Spartan ID, just like if you were running Zedd's modded xex. While we're waiting for Idlehands to update his program to work online (his internet is down for a short time), and since Horizon Diamond is almost caught up, I figured I'd explain how to do it in the meantime, if you're the 'manual' kind of person. As many people seem to have issues with exPE, I would recommend absurdlyobfuscated's XXSE instead, unless you just feel like doing it manually all at once, or if you want to poke it all at once. The original post is in the spoiler below. It is also available as an offline 'standalone' version. It does everything this tutorial would do, and more, including unlocking specific armor sets or items individually, and more things in the gpd that can be edited such as campaign progress. Absurdlyobfuscated has added this to his very nice web application.
